Enable analytics and help us improve.

We are constantly adding new features and improvements to the Ready Player Me SDK. Enable analytics and help us build even better free tools for more developers.

The collected analytics data is used for internal purposes only and not shared with third parties. See Licensing & Privacy.

What we track

We believe in transparency, so here is a list of the events that we track.

General Data

  • SDK version

  • Unity version and render pipeline

  • Operating system and version

  • Your partner subdomain and application name

  • Your device ID (we use this to group events by developer)

Events (Unity Editor only)

  • Activity on the Ready Player Me editor dialogs (clicked buttons and checkboxes)

  • Build application for a specific target

  • Avatar loaded (target-platform, url, success, error)

How to enable SDK Analytics

You will be asked to enable SDK Analytics when you import the SDK into Unity.

Click Enable Analytics to opt in and allows us to track the events listed above.

Enabling Analytics after choosing Never Ask Again

If you previously checked Never Ask Again and want to allow tracking now, do the following.

  1. From the menu bar, select Ready Player Me > Settings.

  2. In the Ready Player Me dialog, check Yes, enable analytics.

How to disable SDK Analytics

You can disable analytics at any time.

  1. From the menu bar, select Ready Player Me > Settings.

  2. In the Ready Player Me dialog, uncheck Analytics enabled.
